Sweets’ Nicknames:

1 – Bubby (I won’t bore you with the details of how this one came to be.)

2 – Petey  (Rhymes with “Sweetie” which I sometimes call him.)

3 – Little Big Man  (The typical name for a little man-dog with the big A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E.)

4 – Funny Bum  (Because his fuzzy little “seat” butt makes me laugh.)

5 – Maymie  (For the reason, refer to #1.)

6 – Poo Poo  (He is a Shih Poo, afterall.)

7 – LBB  (This is what Grandpa calls him.  What the initials stand for is a highly guarded family secret.)

8 – Puppy  (Because he looks like one.  Plus, this was the name the breeder called him so his daughter wouldn’t get too attached to him.  I don’t think it worked all that well.)

Favourite Foods:

1 – Dried chicken strips.  He gets a part of one after every walk.

2 – Kraft Dinner – He just loves the stuff and has ever since he was a puppy.

3 – Weiners – He gets these very rarely, but could live on them if I let him.

4 – Any sliced deli meat – Again, a rare treat.  I would love to give him more but it is so fattening.

5 – Popcorn – I de-kernel it before I give it to him because I am afraid that the little shells will get caught in his teeth or stuck in his throat.

6 – ANY food I am eating.  ‘Nuff said!

He isn’t fussy when it comes to people food but when it comes to dog food, he is the fussiest doggie I have ever seen.  We are currently butting heads in regards to the recent change of food I have given him.  He’s being very stubborn and will pick out the “old” food and eat just that unless it is late at night (and he is starving by this point because he has ran out of “old” food) and then he will unhappily eat the “new” food.  I’m not giving in, however.  This “new” food is much better for him and was a V-E-T recommendation.  I wasn’t feeding him supermarket dog food and thought that what I was feeding him was a good quality food, but apparently it was lacking in Omega 3’s and 6’s.
